This site describes an operating approach that I have coined āEconomic Architectureā. It is intended to be effective at managing complex socio-economic systems, where the system complexity has outgrown established āanalogueā governance methods.
The purpose of Economic Architecture is to improve the process of creating or adapting systems to meet techno-socio-economic challenges where existing governance methods are proving to be unsuited to the challenge. Economic Architecture is generally intended for use with respect to infrastructure-intensive investments and/or public services. Typical ways in which existing governance methods tend to demonstrate inadequacy include a sense of:
It is typically assumed that the Economic Architecture method will be applied to national-level challenges, or equivalently complex systems. For simpler systems, this could be described as āusing a hammer to crack a nutā.
Economic Architecture is itself an emerging approach for facilitating the agreeing, designing and delivery of development of and/or change to new and existing complex systems. Its arguably rather lofty overall aspiration is to enable society to progress to its next epoch, but there is never any harm in setting your sights on an ambitious target, while being pragmatic during the day-to-day.

On this site I document information that puts substance to the phrase āEconomic Architectureā and related topics. I publish into the public domain to allow others to learn and contribute. I am continually developing my thinking. Documenting my thoughts to an audience helps focus my mind and makes it easier to receive feedback.
If you want to contact me about these topics, Iāll be glad to hear from you
Thanks & enjoy your stay
